LONDON – NOVEMBER 2, 2011 – BusinessWire – Robert Marcus, Chairman and CEO of QuantumWave Capital, is to take part in a UK government hosted cyber conference that aims to establish a dialogue between people working in cyberspace across the globe.
Hosted by the UK’s Foreign Secretary William Hague, and including heads of state and officials from sixty countries, the London Conference on Cyberspace has been set up to help governments, industry and civil society better understand how to protect and preserve opportunities from cyberspace.
Discussion is expected to focus on future trends in technology; implications for democratic accountability and freedom; and the impact of cyberspace on prosperity, development and knowledge.
Robert Marcus is a speaker and panelist in the session on cloud computing, exploring the radical innovation and new business models that have been enabled by the cloud, the impact on businesses, consumers and governments, as well as policy, security and privacy concerns and responses.
