Bernard Giroud is a highly-regarded Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector corporate leader and investment banking expert
He served most recently as investment advisor to Bernard Arnault, Chairman of LVMH, and as Chief Executive Officer of Europatweb, Bernard Arnault’s private internet investment vehicle, at its peak the largest internet fund in Europe.
Prior to that Bernard served as Managing Partner of Schroder Ventures (now Permira) and successfully raised and managed the storied private equity firm’s first venture fund.
Bernard was the founding President of Intel Europe, where he successfully grew the business from start-up to over $1 billion in revenue, and also served as a Vice-President of Intel Corporation.
An inveterate builder of businesses, he has served on more than 25 public and private company boards, both in Europe and the USA, including 5 chairmanships.
He graduated with a Master of Science degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications or ENST, and a Masters in Business Administration from INSEAD.
